Running Blind is a short pilot story of twelve chapters that goes into detail about the lives Mikoto, Shisui and Itachi before (and in Ichirin’s case during) Lost Before the Dawn. The first eight chapters outlining Uchiha Mikoto’s life from the moment she becomes a genin under Jiraiya till her death by Itachi’s hand, from their onward Itachi’s story is told. It focuses on the most important relationships in her life, which are crucial to the sequel.
