Summary: “In the year 2012 of the Common Era, the Sacred Federation of Japan invaded Britannia. The small, far island empire had no change against Japan, one of the world’s remaining super powers. Despite the lack of natural resources, the proud nation of Britannia had adopted a stance of nationalistic isolation. In order to protect mainland, the Britannian forces mobilized the Knightmare Frames, humanoid powered armors for the first time. Their abilities exceeded expectations and Federation’s attacks fell one after another before the might of Knightmare Project. But in end it was in vain Brittania became a dominion of the Federation and was stripped of its freedom, its rights and even its name. Area 11. The defeated and once proud empire of Brittania was rechristened with a mere number.”
