Chapter Summary: Taka was her family, it didn’t matter she met another Uzumaki. Uzushiogakure gone long before she had been born and so was her clan. Both she and Nagato and found a new family… no matter how broken.
Suigetsu’s hand petting her head while she had in throws of old nightmare reminded Karin of her father, vague memories of a man long gone doing the same thing. It was strange to realize that somehow along the way Taka had become her new family, her teammates had become her brothers and sister. Although she did still have a small crush on Sasuke despite the fact she knew know that he would never leave the woman who carried his heir.
She liked Amegakure… better then Madara’s laboratory in the Mountain’s Graveyard. She had been quite glad when Sakura had insisted that Sasuke recovered somewhere else from his surgery, something she heartily supported. Luckily the end they got their way and Madara had transported them Ame.
It was here that she met Pein… no Nagato. It hadn’t been hard to find him, her kinsman chakra signature reminded her vaguely of her father’s. She talked to him a entire day… to real one… not one of his paths. Talked about their families… like him she too had lost her parents her gentle father to a Iwa-Nin who recognized him as member of the Uzumaki clan, a name he abandoned had a long time ago while her mother had been a member from Kusagakure’s dying Uzume clan. The Kagura Shingan had been only clan technique… the woman had been able to teach before she too was gone.
Another subject of conversation was if Uzumaki Naruto was part of Uzushiogakure’s legacy. As the soon found out it didn’t matter… nor the fact both she and Nagato were Uzumaki, they each had found a family no matter how broken it was
