Lost Before the Dawn was a chance I took, I’ve read many stories about Sakura and Sasuke as step siblings or distant relatives and some where they are half siblings but I never have read one where they are full blooded siblings or at least not one with a decent story behind it. One of my favorite mangaka Kaori Yuki used incest as plot in two of her manga’s. That’s what I wanted, I wanted to write a incestuous SasuSaku story with a plot. I wanted to write about a relationship between two mentally and emotionally scarred children, who happen to be siblings. They do not even have a incestuous (sexual) relationship at the beginning but it rather slowly becomes one.
